The CPSO have produced an annual season of concerts in and around Peterborough since 1990.  The orchestra has a full programme of events underway for 2009 and 2010 to be conducted by Principal Conductor, Russell Keable and Guest Conductor, Paul Hilliam. Last year was a great year, with the terrific performance of  Mahler's 2nd Symphony, "The Resurrection" conducted by Russell Keable at Peterborough Cathedral and our highly acclaimed performance of the Elgar Cello Concerto and Dvorak New World Symphony with soloist Tim Gill and conductor, Paul Hilliam, in November 2008.

The fire at the Broadway has taken our venue away from us, but that hasn't stopped us promoting wonderful events.  Like our  first "New Year" celebration of Viennese music in February at the Key Theatre, directed in the style of Johann Strauss Jr by Angus Gibbon, our Leader.  Like our Just Beethoven concert with Russell Keable at the Cresset, and our American Extravaganza concert held at the brand new Voyager School Hall.  Look out for more news on the Concerts pages for information about events past and present.
